People are so quick to judge the sounds. What you're hearing are sounds coming from ordinary stereo speakers, recorded with an offscreen sub-par camera, from a video hosted on YouTube. BUT these so called supercomputers don't have to update to the newest firmware. For all we know they are probably still running the initial firmware that was installed from factory. I don't think the military or anybody that uses it for scientific research watches bluray or plays games like MAG on PSN.

Sony has been using 3DV camera's in R&D for a while now. If you watched the Engadget show about the PSMove, Richard Marks explains how it may be robust using 3DV cams but the current PSEye can essentially deliver the same experience to the end user. That's why they decided to bring in the Move controller. Physical buttons and pure 1:1 tracking is the only way motion control gaming can capture both the casual and the hardcore gamers.
